FACING COVID-19
SECURITY MEASURES & PROTOCOL
Our goal is to assure you that the safety of our patients and medical equipment is our top priority.
Plastimedic and our office are thoroughly disinfected several times a day, using a rigorous hygiene protocol. The use of masks is mandatory at all times when entering the clinic.
We provide hand sanitizer near entrances and exits, and common areas.
Go to consultation accompanied by a family member, friend or partner. Ideally, it should be the same person who would accompany you in the post-surgery process.
- Do not bring children to the consultation.
- Turn off or put your cell phone on silent, so that you pay as much attention as possible.
- If the evaluation is for facial surgery, do not wear makeup.
- Arrive on time for your consultation.
- Any medical history you have, such as fluid retention, continuous medications should be mentioned in this consultation. As well as pre-existing conditions such as asthma, diabetes, allergies, among others.
- If you smoke, you must tell him the actual number of cigarettes you smoke daily, this is highly necessary.

SAFE AND EFFICIENT SPACE
We have implemented new security measures and reinforced our hygiene protocols that allow us to function efficiently and maintain a safe and clean space.
Dr. Franklin Peña’s team is subjected to periodic tests to detect Covid-19 and they receive constant training on the appropriate measures to manage this health situation in the best way.
Surgical procedures require an overnight stay to provide follow-up and medication for the patient in the first 24 hours of surgery.
MANDATORY MASK
The use of masks is mandatory at all times when entering the clinic and consultation.
The medical team may ask you to remove it during the evaluation of facial procedures.
CLEAN AND SAFE ENVIRONMENT
You have hand sanitizer and antibacterial gel near the entrances and exits in all common areas of Plastimedic and the office.
In Dr. Franklin Peña's office you will have available hand washing with soap and antibacterial gel as well.
SOCIAL DISTANCING
To avoid crowds and reduce contact, we ask patients to only go with a companion if necessary, and to avoid children.
We request to maintain a safe distance between patients and personnel present.

When having plastic or cosmetic surgery abroad, you should consider that time is a fundamental factor in planning it.
- Contact us 3 months before the desired date.
- Complete the Online consultation , to obtain your budget and details of the surgery. This form is free of cost.
- Schedule your CONSULTION (video call + face-to-face)
- Reserve your Date with a partial deposit of the value of the procedure.
- Covid 19 test (PCR) in your country of origin, with 10 days within the date of surgery.
- Present the issued result, to confirm with the test that we will perform here.
- You must be in the country 3 days before for the evaluation and analysis.
- Before your surgery we encourage you to practice distancing and appropriate safety measures, such as wearing a mask in public and washing your hands frequently.
- Avoid unnecessary exits before and after surgery.
- The Covid 19 test has a separate cost in the budget.

The virtual consultation consists of a video call via WhatsApp with Dr. Franklin Peña, with a duration of approximately 30 minutes. This pre-evaluation does not replace the face-to-face consultation.
