Will I feel any pain?
Plastic surgery procedures are generally very well controlled with regular pain relief. Which means that the patient rarely describes any type of pain or discomfort. The anesthesiologist monitors painkillers during surgery to avoid postoperative pain as well, which is supplemented with treatment during hospitalization.

It will also depend a lot on the patient, so it can be variable. There are procedures whose postoperative period is well tolerated and the number of complaints from patients is much lower, and on the contrary others such as liposuction that requires more support from medications, a girdle to help with inflammation and drainage. The biggest discomfort is the first few days, then the swelling goes down and makes recovery very manageable.

Rest promotes recovery

How do you sleep after the combination of ABDOMINOPLASTY AND GLUTEAL LIPOINJECTION?
When the patient opts for the combination abdominoplasty (which is surgery to correct the abdomen) and gluteal lipoinjection (which includes liposuction and fat grafting in the buttocks) we advise that the rest be done in a recliner that allows keeping the head inclined to 45 degrees with respect to the body, during the first weeks.

You can also use pillows and cushions under your legs to avoid putting pressure on your buttocks.

First, you have to be clear about what constitutes a buttock lipoinjection, also known by the marketing term “BBL”, which means Brazilian Butt Lift.
